The Women of Marvel Comics Part 5: Jean Grey and Phoenix

Jean Grey is an Omega-level mutant, and is one of the physical hosts of the Phoenix Force. She is an original X-Men (as Marvel Girl) and first appeared in X-Men #1 (1963). She has been a staple in the X-Universe and has had multiple storylines. She married Cyclops (Scott Summers) and has a daughter Rachel Summers (current Marvel Girl), son Nate Grey (X-Man) and a stepson Cable. Her current whereabouts are unknown.
