It’s that spooky time of year, especially if you live in Detroit! Come on in and grab a scary book!
Tonight, I conduct an interview with vampire author Jim Trombetta, The Horror! The Horror! Comic Books the Government Didn’t Want You to Read! (Abrams ComicArts). It’s an inside look at the horror comics of the pre-code 1950’s.

Also on this special midnight presentation is a tomb full of Walking Dead reprint information. And a a special treat I’m giving away the full slab of Max Brooks zombie trilogy of books: The Zombie Survival Guide, The Zombie Survival Guide: Recorded Attacks and World War Z. As a bonus I’m also throwing in Eduardo Risso’s Tales Of Terror (Dynamite). You’ll have to listen to the show find out how to enter!

So turn down the lights and curl up with a good podcast!
Count Chris

My thanks to Abrams ComicArts, Random House and Dynamite who supplied me with copies of the books.

Update: I did get an e-mail back from JC Vaughn (Gemstone). He said that currently the EC Archives are on hold and that the decision (to publish more) still rests with the Gaines Estate, so no news at this point. Let’s hope that the situation gets resolved soon.
