I&#8217;ve been catching up with everything that isn&#8217;t <strong>Comic Con International: San Diego 2008</strong> (thanks to Augie for the correction), but it’s not as easy as I&#8217;d like. As I thought there have been tons of Blog posts and articles that recap the Con and the <a href="http://www.comicsreporter.com/index.php/collective_memory_cci_2008/" target="_blank">Comics Reporter has compiled a giant list</a>.<br />
There is, however, other news in the Collected Edition world, so let’s get to it now:</span></p>
<ul><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: small;"></p>
<li><a href="http://www.darkhorse.com/Press-Releases/1598/Boris-Karloff-Tales-of-Mystery-returns-from-the-grave-after-nearly-30-years-7-24-08" target="_blank">Dark Horse, is adding their classic horror reprint</a> line (Creepy and Eerie) with <strong>Boris Karloff Tales of Mystery</strong> (Gold Key). All 96 issues will be collected in four hardcover volumes. The first of which will be published in 2009.</li>
<li><a href="http://www.comicsreporter.com/index.php/was_2008_idws_last_comic_con/" target="_blank">2008 may have been IDW&#8217;s last CCI</a>. That&#8217;s OK, mine was 2006.</li>
<li><a href="http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=article&amp;id=17529" target="_blank">Here&#8217;s the Official Press Release</a> for <strong>Valiant&#8217;s Archer &amp; Armstrong: First Impressions HC</strong> due out September 24.</li>
<li><a href="http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=article&amp;id=17530" target="_blank">Marvel/Icon is collecting the first three issues of Kick-Ass</a> in <strong>Kick-Ass Must Have</strong> due out September 3.</li>
<li><strong>Ballantine</strong> is going to collect the <strong>Garfield Minus Garfield strips by Dan Walsh</strong>.<a href="http://pwbeat.publishersweekly.com/blog/2008/07/31/new-garfield-book-without-garfield-announced/" target="_blank"> PR at The Beat.</a></li>
