The EC Comics Archives, the reprint series from Gemstone was started in 2006 and only lasted 13 Volumes. GC Press, along with Gemstone editor Michael Kronenberg, tried to revive the Archives, but sadly, it only lasted two more volumes. That was nine months ago and there are no new solicitations in the foreseeable future. You can find the entire list of books on the CCL’s Library page.
That’s not to say that there are no new EC reprints out. IDW had the Wally Wood’s EC Stories Artist’s Edition and Fantagraphics has their own upcoming line: The EC Comics Library.
UPDATE: I received word that GC may be publishing Tales from the Crypt Volume 4 and Two-Fisted Tales Volume 3. However that info was from last April. I hope the Archives are not “dead”, but I don’t see any evidence that the program is still going strong. I hope I am proven wrong.

Yes, I’ve waited for months also for the next volume in EC’s ill-fated Archives line-up, hopefully they can get back on track so all of us fanboys can finally complete this series of volumes. Please don’t leave this work undone.
I have the first 15 archives. What someone needs to do is reprint MAD 24 through 32. I have the CDs of MAD but it is not the same. “Totally MAD” recently released from Time really sucks. I have the Color MAD volumes from Russ which are spectacular. But the color is not as good as the Archives recolored volumes.
Best of luck to Russ. I await new issues.
The great book “Woodwork” is available on Amazon at a reduced price.
I just got an email from Russ Cochran today, Nov. 5/12 saying Two Fisted Tales Volume 3 will be released soon. So it’s still an ongoing project. Let’s hope for more soon, it all depends on our support.
Yes, it’s a pity how long the project is taking. I’m sure there’s an enormous amount of work to colorise the art for each volume. I can’t imagine there is any less demand for these books than the Dark Horse Creepy Archives, and they are getting cranked out like sausages by comparison. I love ‘em both, and would like to see GC Press issue Haunt Vol.2 and Vault Vol.3 next. Don’t forget Weird Fantasy too !

Jeff, I hope this is turns out to be the case. I really hope the EC Archives will finds legs and succeed in reprinting the entire line.
