Golden Age Sandman Archives
Volume 1
|
A nostalgic return to the days of pulp heroes, The Golden Age Sandman Archives
Vol.1 reprints the earliest escapades of the masked urban adventurer as they
were originally published in the late 1930s. After years of living a luxurious
life without direction, wealthy businessman and scientist Wesley Dodds
answered a higher calling and became the mysterious Sandman. Donning a
gas mask, fedora hat, and business suit and armed with his special
"sleeping gas gun," the Sandman patrolled the streets of New York as
its crime fighting detective and protector. In this vintage edition,
which features the first appearance of the Golden Age Sandman,
the enigmatic vigilante saves an heiress from devious kidnappers,
thwarts a diabolical plot for revenge, and contends with a criminal
that discovers his true identity. |
