I did some digging and found some information that should have been included with the Black Canary Archives.
In the Table of Contents, DC Special #3 was released in April-June 1969 and it included the previously unpublished Golden Age story "Special Delivery Death!" from February 1949. Because comics are made a few months in advance, this story was most likely to be included as a back-up in Flash Comics #105, but Flash Comics was canceled with #104.
Subsequently, the Black Canary Archives also includes a reprint of Adventure Comics #399, from November 1970. This comic also included a previously unpublished Golden Age story called "Television Told the Tale" from March 1949. It is my guess that this story was also supposed to be included as a back-up in Flash Comics #106.
