Collected Comics Library Podcast #376

Hard to believe another birthday is upon us. 9 years is along time, not to mention all the countless collected editions that have been recommended and srcutinized. Yes it’s been a fun ride and I’m ready for another year = including a new mic.
Truth is, I owe it all to you the listeners of my podcast and visitors to this little site. Thank you very much.
So, let’s get on with the topic at hand – IDW’s Library of American Comics: Superman: Silver Age Dailies Vol. 1: 1959-1961. Long time newspaper and Superman fanboys will remember that Kitchen Sink reprinted the first volumes Golden Age Superman and Batman, Dailies and Sunday’s, over 10 years ago. Sadly the program didn’t go any further, but it did get many people interested in strips that had never been reprinted – ever. Thankfully, Dean Mullany was one of those people and now it’s a part of his LoAC series. The complete run of Superman and Batman is in the plan, as well as, the rarely seen Wonder Woman strip that only lasted one short year.
So let’s get to it and kick off Year 10 with a little Truth, Justice and The American way.
…and congratulations to Jerry, of the Essential Showcase blog, who won the X-O Manowar trade!
