I continue with my annual “Adopt A Character” theme focusing this week on the 1950’s revival of Namor, The Sub-Mariner. He, along with Captain America and the Human Torch, only lasted a total of 23 issues (spread across 6 different titles), but these were some of the most imaginative comics ever created. Some say that Bill Everett’s work on his signature character was the best Namor ever – even to this day!
I go over all three “Atlas Era Heroes” Masterworks, including what is collected, extra features and answer the question of why the Marvel “Trinity” was revived in the first place.

There’s also news from IDW regarding the Watchmen Artifact edition, John Romita’s Spider-Man Artist Edition Volume 2; updated release dates for Prince Valiant Volumes 9 and 10 from Fantagraphics and a question for all listeners on just how Superman: Unchained may get collected. Yes, your input is much appreciated — and needed!
