This week’s podcast is being done in conjunction with the Collected Editions Blog. A few weeks back they asked for guest reviews and I quickly said yes. CEB does so many DC Comics reviews that I decided to do some Marvel to mix it up a bit. My addition is one of the most praised mini-events ever – Avengers: Under Siege. Marvel re-released it in September as part of their Premiere Classic Hardcover line (Variant Volume 51). My written review will be posted soon and when it does I’ll be sure to add a link to this post, but for now you may listen to the audio presentation which is slightly (and intentionally) different. I do breakdown the contents of the book as well as the origin of the Masters Of Evil team and how this story sets the stage for The Thunderbolts. I also talk about what issues are missing and are worth a read if one chooses a more comprehensive and expanded story. I want to thank the Collected Editions Blog, it’s a great review site and loaded with information and excellent comments.
