Today on the show I dive head first into a topic that anyone who collects DC or Marvel comics can relate to: Company Wide Events and Crossovers. Being that this blog and podcast focus on Collected Editions, I take the unorthodox angle of looking at how the monthly comics have been incorrectly collected and how we are suckers for buying into the lies from over zealous CEO’s and Editorial Directors. This particular show is not for the faint of heart, it gets down right mean at times and I make no excuses. I feel I just have to get my feelings off of my chest.

Also on the show, I go over a bit of news on upcoming comic book adaptation of The Talisman from Peter Straub and Stephen King and some happenings from TwoMorrows Publishing at the New York Comic Con.

All this and the New Releases of the Week.

quote from Comic Book Resources coverage of NYCC – The X-Men Panel:

David joked that Scarlett Witch would whisper “No more crossovers,” which led to applause. “All of you bought ‘Secret Invasion,’” McCann laughed.
