I’ve been very busy the past 24 hours. I meant to do the show notes yesterday, but I got sidetracked and this is the first time I’ve been on my computer since I uploaded the show late Wednesday night.
The past week has brought so much DC Comics news that I decided to do s pseudo-Previews show, featuring DC trade releases for October and November. I also see that DC has released December, as I thought they would. I’ll go over those books next week before the feature on Fantastic Four and Silver Surfer.
I’m slowing working towards updating the Release Schedule page and the checklists. I hope to have them done this weekend.
Lastly, I rant on the absence and reemergence of the Mad Archives.

Writing, recording, editing, producing, uploading and troubleshooting a podcast is easy. It’s trying top find the time to do everything is the hard part.
A day later then usual but it’s OK because this weekend the world will stop for Spider-Man. So on your way to and from the theater, or the IMAX, where I am headed to, listen to your favorite Collected Edition Podcast and get the scoop on the right trades to buy to find your favorite hero, supporting characters and villains.
Speaking of heroes, MarvelMasterworks.com is reporting that Captain Marvel Volume 2 will be released August 29 and will collect Captain Marvel #10-21.

It’s that spooky time of year, especially if you live in Detroit! Come on in and grab a scary book!
Tonight, I go over a few of my favorites and a few that I have yet to get, but come highly recommended. I also go over the Universal Monster DVD’s one last time including the Abbott and Costello Monster movies.
There are a few sold out Masterworks to report and two e-mails to go over as well.
So turn down the lights and curl up with a good podcast!
