Moon Knight is a very complex character. There are so many sides to him given his multiple personalities. Is he Marc Spector? Steven Grant? Jake Lockley? an incarnation of Khonshu The Egyptian God of the Moon? Or just a rip-off of Batman? Today I take a look at his publishing history, every collected edition and why the Moon Knight gets canceled, seemingly, all the time. I also talk about two of my all time favorite comic book covers and that Moon Knight dons both of them.

Also, IDW has announced the Frank Miller Daredevil: Born Again Artist’s Edition and I could be happier!

There’s been several great artists and writers on Spider-Man throughout the decades. One of my all time favorites is Todd McFarlane. Back in the late 1980′s I picked up a handfull of his run on Amazing Spider-Man, but I was also one of the fanboys who bought one of the 2.5 millions copies of Spider-Man #1 in 1990 – Silver and Gold covers and all!

Come this June, Marvel will have collected all of McFarlane’s comics on Spidey, and today we take a look back on the complete body of work, the collected edition formats and even a lesson on how to read one of the hardcovers.

It’s that time of year again! Time to pick a character or creator to immerse yourself in for 2012.

This is one of my favorite shows of the year because it forces me to read material I probably would have skipped or let the dust collect on my books. For 2012 I’m choosing Nick Fury of S.H.I.E.L.D. due in large part of the upcoming Avengers movie starring Samuel L. Jackson. I also haven’t read much S.H.I.E.L.D. over the years except for the two Jim Sterenko trade paperbacks, the Essential Godzilla and whatever comics Nick Fury pops up in. I’ll have several books to keep me occupied including the three Nick Fury Masterworks (I’m forgoing the Howling Commandos run), the recent Vs. S.H.I.E.L.D Premiere Hardcover and the upcoming Wolverine & Nick Fury: Scorpio trade paperback.

For fun let’s recap what I adopted the past few years:
