Jim Unger (21 January 1937 – 29 May 2012) – a Canadian cartoonist, best known for his syndicated comic strip Herman which ran for eighteen years in 600 newspapers in 25 countries.
Leo Dillon (March 2, 1933 – May 26, 2012) – an American husband and wife (Diane Dillon) team of illustrators. They won two consecutive Caldecott Medals.
Richard “Dick” Beals (March 16, 1927 – May 29, 2012) – an American voice actor.
