Well as you can see the Forum and the Podcasts are up and running. I’m so happy and proud of my latest accomplishment!
Truthfully, this was so unexpected. As you heard in the first Podcast, I came across this by accident and now it’s up and running. I’m also getting great feedback from all of you. Thank you very much. I’m still working on my recording levels and the Wave, but I think I may have it under control by now.

What else, Erin came down with slight ear infection and she’ not a very happy girl. She’s lost her appetite and she wants to be held a lot, but that’s OK, I’m happy to oblige.

We took Patrick outside to day and I took off his training wheels. He did very well, but he’s still not there yet.

The Tigers are off to a good preseason start, ahem, preseason start.

What a day at Doral! Tiger and Phil. Man I was in Heaven! Tiger pulls it out because Phil chocked. He said yesterday that he was looking forward to seeing just how his game will stack up against his #1 opponent. Well Phil, now you know the answer.

Headaches

I’m feeling a bit under the weather. I’ve had a bad headache for three days and now my throat is sore. I did, however, go out last night with Dan to the Whalers game. I haven’t seen him since October, when golf season ended.

Speaking of Golf, I received an e-mail from the Head Pro at Tam O’Shanter. I didn’t get the job, no surprise, but I would’ve liked to have interviewed. 60 people applied and he split the job between two people. I’ll write him a nice note of appreciation, anyway.

The Alero is in the shop. He thinks it may be the ignition switch. I’ll know more on Monday.

I’ve put more comic books up for sale on eBay Friday. I may buy a new set of Hogan’s with the money. Dan knows some high-up people at Hogan/Topflight and he says I can get a good deal.

Lastly we got a ton of snow today. I stayed in to watch the PGA, but it’s still raining in California, so I watched the Daytona 500 and then went out to shovel. The kids will go to bed soon and then I’ll settle in and watch last Monday’s “24.

Chicagoland

We had a great time this past weekend in Chicago. We went to go visit Patty’s sister and her family. Patrick and Neil played together and so did Erin and Kathleen. Baby Hugh is such a big boy and he is so fun to play with. I can easily make him laugh and he has such a great smile.

No rest for Patty though. As soon as we got home Monday, she had to pack for a two day trip to Indianapolis. Where she lost her purse. She got it back when she looked in the backseat of the rental car – a few hours later. Now today she had to take a trip to Dayton. She has been going a mile a minute, literately.

I took the midterm for class and I did very well. We’re are now getting into things that I understand or have tinkered with in the past.

Oh, one more thing, the battery in the Alero died. Better it be stuck in the driveway then on the freeway.

I’ve had a busy week. Class is going well. Chapter 2 on System Boards was a real pain. We’ve moved on to something a little more tangible – I/O devises.

I’m real busy with the Fraternity Alumni Association, too. That is going well and it appears that a lot of my time will be working on getting our website up and running in the next 3-4 weeks.

We are going to Chicago on Saturday and I’m looking forward to it. It won’t be too relaxing, but to get out of the house for the weekend will be nice.

The Tigers signed Mags, today, along with his two bum knees. We’ll see how that one pans out.

I’m selling a bunch of comics and other items on eBay this week. Looks like most, if not all, will sell.

Patrick surprised Patty and me Monday when he put together a gigantic Thomas Railway system in the basement! He used every single piece of track. It looks fantastic and we are so glad that he is using his imagination. He is well on his way. Erin just loves school. It’s only once a week, but she can’t get enough of it! I’m so proud of her, too.

My A+ class is going rather well. I’m learning a lot of new stuff about computers and how they work. I’m also reading a How To guide on Networking. After I pass my class I plan on going for some sort of MCP, probably in, yep, Networking.

Because of class I missed 60 Minutes with Stan Lee and the State of the Union. I taped both and I plan on watching them tomorrow.

I finished Angels and Demons Sunday night. It was a very good read and I plan on starting (for the second time) “The Da Vinci Code”.
