Comic Book Blog browsing on a Thursday morning
The Podcast I did with John Mayo regarding his article on the August, 2007 Sales Analysis at CBR is up and running. We also go over the Collected Editions numbers for the month. You can get more information by visiting John’s site Comic Book Page.
Here is the .mp3. On to a bunch of new and review links:
- Marvel Comics, by way their MarvelMasterworks.com site is reporting that they will release Marvel Masterworks: The Uncanny X-Men Volume 6 (Variant Volume 90). It will collect Uncanny X-Men #141-150 and is due January 23, 2008. This volume includes stories like Days of the Future Past and the Kitty Pryde Christmas issue, but oddly enough this book does not feature either of those two stories on the MM cover. Instead Marvel has chosen to go with X-Men #150. This caught me off guard, when I found out about this book a few weeks a go (sorry folks I was sworn to secrecy). Volume 89 has not been announced yet. I also know of another BIG Marvel Masterwork that is slated for 2008, but again, I can’t reveal it.
- Belated Happy 3rd Birthday to Comics Reporter Blog hosted by Tom Spurgeon. Tom has certainly helped out the CCL over the past year or two, so I just want to say congratulations!
- Brian Hibbs a has a funny and quick comment on the lateness that is Powers Volume 10 TPB.

- Review: John R. Fultz, The Pulse, on Devil Dinosaur Omnibus
