Comic Book Blog browsing on a Tuesday afternoon

This past Memorial Day weekend I decided to take a little vacation from my computer - Internet, e-mail, forums - the whole gambit. Every once and a while I need a break from sitting and glaring at a screen. So what did I do instead? The next best thing or course - I watched TV more then I wanted to. Lots of sports this weekend: Tigers, Pistons, golf and two Car races. I also got caught up on a few movies I’ve been meaning to see: The Queen and The DiVinci Code: The Queen was excellent. Very political, provoking, amusing and excellent acting all around. It really paints a screwed up picture of The Royal Family. DiVinci is another story altogether. It was OK, you may want to rent it for the visual references that appear in the book. That part was kind of neat. Monday night I turned on The History Channel and watched three hours of Star Wars documentaries: Star Wars Tech and Star Wars The Legacy Revealed. Both delve into the story behind the story. Tech is about inventing real world gadgets based on Star Wars weapons, paraphernalia and technology. Legacy is all about the legends and myths that inspired George Lucas throughout the series. If you are a Star Wars fan, and you most likely are, both are worth your time.
Now, on with a few links:
