  • The Detroit Free Press previews this weekends Motor City Comic Con. I’ll be there on Sunday.
  • DC has released the official cover to 52 Volume TPB. And just for fun here’s the cover to 52: The Novel for comparisons sake.
    Also, DC has announced two very cool 52 related books. 52: The Companion TPB ($20; 224 pages) will collect Mysterious Suspense #1, Gotham Central #40, Animal Man #16, Metal Men #45, Superman: The Man Of Steel #97, Rip Hunter: Time Master #6, JSA #43-44, and stories from Detective Comics #350, Strange Adventures #226, Secret Origins #35. I’ll go over this one more in depth in next weeks podcast. We can also look forward to 52: The Covers HC - yes Hardcover ($20; 128 pages). This will collect every cover from 52, 52 Vol. 1-4 TPB, the 52 novel, sketches, plus commentary from JG Jones. I do find it odd that the covers to Volumes 2-4 of 52 will be included when they haven’t been solicited yet. In any event, both books are due in August.

  • The Beat has revealed the cover to 24seven Vol. II
  • Jeff has updated his Graphic Novel Archive site to include a ton of Viz Media books.
