It’s time our friend Ralph Dibny got the spotlight. After all, he’s played a major part in Identity Crisis, Infinite Crisis and 52.
Also on this week’s installment I talk about a few Batman titles I’ve recently read, Superman and Batman DVD news and JRR Tolkien publishes a new book from the grave. There is also some follow up to my Avengers rant last week.
At least Little Orphan Annie is getting reprinted by IDW. Boy, that sure does sound familiar.

Sorry friend, no Doom Patrol or Punisher as I stated I might do this week, instead I go over Heidi MacDonald’s article on the growth of Graphic Novels in 2006, which she wrote at the IVc2 conference at this years New York Comic Con.
I also go over a few books coming out this June and July from Marvel and DC. Let me tell you that I’m not real happy with Marvel at the moment and it has nothing to do with Steve Rogers.
At least Terry and The Pirates is getting reprinted by IDW!!!

It’s two for the price of one this week. A different kind of show just to shake things up - March Madness style.
No news to report, other then what is below and I’ll talk more about Arnold Drake and more next week and I may throw in a little Punisher, too.
For the feature this week, I talk to John Mayo of the Comic Book Page Podcast, regarding the Trade Stats for January 2007. Then in a few days form now on Sunday I’ll release Trade Secrets 10 which is our 2006 Trade Year in Review. Lots of stats to get through, but next Wednesday, I’ll get back on schedule.

This week’s show is a little different because I don’t focus on particular book or genre. In all honesty I have to give all the credit to the members of the Forum. The thread is on the topic of the ratio of money spent on trades or collected editions to regular monthly comic books. Contrary to popular belief I do but monthly books. A shocker, I know. But how much do I spend?
There is also a lot of news to go over from WonderCon, DC Comics and the Top Cow Compendiums Back to Press. There’s also some neat info regarding comics and podcasting as a whole. And I do a follow-up to last week’s JSA show.
Lastly I would be very grateful for any feedback left on iTunes.
