Dark Horse section

November 29, 2005
By

The new Dark Horse section is up and running. I’m still missing a ton of artwork, any help would be great! Please shoot me an email and tell me what you think. I’ll be going over all the books in the next podcast slated for Wednesday.

And don’t fret, the DC Archives section will be back soon.

Also, do you guys think that this font size is too small? or should I go bigger?

Thanks to everyone for the for the great comments from my last show with Eric from the Marvel Essentials and Trade Paperback Yahoo! Group. It was a real success!
In comic podcast news, there is a great Joe Kubert interview over at Comic Geek Speak and a new show over at Cosmic Comix Conversations that I think you’ll enjoy.
The main focus of the show this week is Marvel Masterworks. I replay Show #15 from last April and I add some new information to get everyone up-to-date. As usual, I go over the New Releases of the week – which is a lot.

Absolute Sandman in 2006

November 13, 2005
By

There is a report over at Newsarama regarding DC Comics RRP meeting in Montreal. Among the news comes this information on Absolute Sandman:

Absolute Sandman starts in 2006; there was no announcement of price or extras yet, but DC will be recoloring the early issues of the Sandman series to match the higher production values of the later issues, as well as touching up the lettering in some issues where reversed lettering dropped out a bit. This is part of a plan to do every Sandman story in the Absolute format. Concurrent with the publication of Absolute Sandman, DC will not be keeping the current hardcovers edition collections of the series in print.
