Highlights from National Comic Book Expo

The National Comic Book Expo was this past weekend, in Toronto. On hand was former Marvel editor C.B. Cebulski to answer questions.
Some hightlights:

“An unexpected result from the success of Marvel’s movies has been an increase in sales of the Essentials line from adults who have renewed their interest in comics.”

and
“(Hardcovers are) doing phenomenally well. Whatever we’ve put out in hardcover has sold well, so I think you’ll see a lot more of that.”

2 new Checklists and 2 new DVD’s

Hey everyone, just a follow up to the last podcast. I’ve put up Marvel Handbook and DC Who’s Who Checklists on the Book Releases Page. Your comments and any corrections are welcome.
Also, DC/Warner Bros. has announced Batman: The Animated Series Volume 4 and Superman: The Animated Series Volume 2 for a December 6 release. Details can be found at Comics Continuum (8-25-2005).
