Holiday Cheers!

The family and I made it through the holiday weekend healthy and unscathed.

Last Wednesday I went to Mikes house to pick up my comics and Patty had a half-day of work.
Thursday we all slept in and had a wonderful pancake breakfast. We watched the first half of the Lions game (that’s all we needed to see) and went to Carol and Joe’s for dinner. At Grandma’s, we had a ton of food to eat, and the Trader Joe’s wine was excellent. We came home and the kids crashed immediately.
Friday and Saturday we ran a few errands and Patty did some shopping. We ended up at the new Ralph Lauren store at Sommerset. Patty thought it wasn’t that big of a deal. There are lots of high priced items and not a lot of room to move. The kids enjoyed the new water fountain that was built.

Sunday, I dropped Patty and Patrick off at birthday party in Franklin. Erin and I went to check on Mom’s house. Later I picked them up and we went to Coney for dinner. Later tonight, we’ll watch Desperate Housewives – currently, our favorite show.

Overall it was a nice relaxing long family weekend.
