The FCC and Me

Today I upgraded Firefox from Version 0.92 to 1.0. Boy what a difference! All the bugs have been cleaned up. What a great browser.

I forgot to mention that last Wednesday was the Clubs’ Caddy Banquet. What a fun time we had. Barry Smith, the Associate Coach of the Red Wings was our honorary speaker.

I put my old Dungeons and Dragons stuff up on eBay this week. I think I priced it too high.

I put in for a job at Verizon. We’ll see if I get it. If I do, I’m not sure what Patty and I will do. She doesn’t want to quit for another year. But it’s an opportunity that I can’t pass up.

The Disney/Family Channel is rerunning the 90’s Animated Spider-Man show. It’s a great way to catch up on episodes I’ve never seen – and work out at the same time. It’s a pretty good show. I wonder when the complete DVD will come out?
Speaking of that, my blood work test results should come in tomorrow. I’m curious as to what my cholesterol is.

I finally saw the Opening to Monday Night Football with the Desperate Housewives “scandal. I think it is a little over the top. But ABC, the NFL, the Eagles and the FCC are all hypocrites. They knew what they were doing and they knew what the impact it was going to have. T.O. is the “Bad Boy of the NFL. No way would this opening get off the ground with Tom Brady or Payton Manning. And this all come after many TV station refused to air Saving Private Ryan for Veterans Day because of obscure language that goes on in the background of the movie. I used to like Michael Powell, but I’m beginning to think Howard Stern is right.
