Election Wrap Up

The election is over and Bush has won. Patty and I are glad to see it come to pass. We never had faith in Kerry. He seemed too smug and sure of himself. He underestimated the support that Bush really had. And we are sure that it will come out that Kerry’s wife Teresa had a negative impact on the campaign. We both could never imagine her as a First Lady. As I read the papers across the Internet, I’m surprised that so many Democrats are upset at the lack of voter turnout of the 18-30 year-olds. That percentage was right on target with the 2000 election. The Dems and the Media got it wrong, the turnout did not increase. Some blame should go to the young voters, but blame should also go to the parents and educators of these people. Education starts at home and ends with personal responsibility. The Democrats should not of put so many eggs in their baskets.
